Ketalon Gear based in Melbourne Australia have
created a new tactical EDC pen called the Tør Pen, which has this week taken to
Kickstarter to raise the required funds it needs to go into production.
As you can see from the design design, this is a
rugged pen that is capable of withstanding every knock and bump you can throw
at it.
The Tør Pen is a superior pocket pen for compact,
lightweight everyday carry. Heavily user-focused and meticulously engineered,
the Tør is designed by a scientist and offers ideal ergonomics. Its striking
aesthetic is inspired by military and tactical gear and is a result of
research-based EDC-focused design. Like its predecessor, the Tør never fails as
a conversation starter.
EDC-ers are sometimes forced to leave behind a
useful tool due to its bulk. Here, length is a compact 4.5″ (115mm), and the
writing grip diameter is 0.43″ (11mm). This makes the Tør an unobtrusive pocket
pal you can carry daily. What sets the rifle-inspired bolt action mechanism
apart is its lifelong reliability. The simplicity of a single moving part makes
it fail-proof. Unlike ordinary pens there are no risks of inked pockets, lost
caps, or broken plastic parts. In addition, it can be used with one finger,
which is always convenient for quick note-taking (especially handy while on the
phone).
