We have heard a number of specifications for the new
OnePlus 5, previous rumors have suggested that the handset will come with 6GB
of RAM and now there is the possibility of an 8GB version. The OnePlus 5 with
8GB of RAM has been listed on a retailers website along with 64GB of storage,
we are no sure if this is correct as we have heard about the 6GB version
previously.
It is possible that OnePlus may also launch an 8GB
of RAM version of the handset, the listing also has some of the other
specifications we heard about previously. The OnePlus 5 will apparently come
with a 5.5 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it
will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and an Adreno 540 GPU.
The listing also provides some information about the
cameras on the handsets, these will include a 16 megapixel front facing camera
and a 23 megapixel rear camera.
The new OnePlus 5 is also listed with USB Type-C,
WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Android 7.1 Nougat, the handset is expected to launch
some time next month. As soon as we get some more details about the device,
including some actual photos of the handset and a launch date, we will let you
guys know.
