Android One S1 features a 5.0-inches IGZO
touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (FHD). Its powered by
Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 430 MSM8937 octa-core processor, which consists of
eight Cortex A53 cores and Adreno 505 GPU alongside 2GB of RAM memory. The
internal storage is 16GB and also supports external storage expansion through
microSD card.
This 5.0-inches device has a 13.1-megapixel camera
on the back with LED flash alongside an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for
both selfie and video calls. Android One S1 is compatible with multiple LTE
network bands and supports dual SIM, hence users are able to insert two SIM
cards together. Other key features/specs are USB OTG (TBC), 3.5mm audio jack,
multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, as well as a micro USB
port instead of reversible USB Type-C.
Pure Android 7.0 Nougat version is the operating
system of Android One S1. As for the battery, it does come with 2,530 mAh of
battery juice. Android One S1 is complied with IPX5/IPX7 waterproof standards
and IP6X dustproof standard. This Nougat flavoured smartphone is available in
white, black, green and pink colors and will launch in the Japanese market in
next month. Unfortunately, there is no pricing yet.
