There are news that
Xiaomi is planning to create the new-generation Redmi Pro 2, which is specially
oriented to the high-end market, compared to the previous Redmi Pro, the new
Redmi Pro2 configuration aspects got greatly upgraded.
The new-generation Redmi Pro2 will be equipped with
Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, it will use Samsung 14nm process, using
octa-core design(4xA73+4xA53), or it is also likely to adopt Qualcomm improved
Kryo core, supports up to 2K resolution screen, it will be officially released
in the second half of this year, as an upgraded version of Snapdragon 652 or 653 processor.
Redmi Pro2 will be estimated to boast
2K resolution, use 5.5 inches screen, running the latest MIUI system which is
based on Android 7.0 Nougat. And it is also expected to continue to use dual
cameras.
The Redmi Pro2 is likely to be officially launched
in the third quarter of this year, just one year apart from the first
generation of Redmi Pro.
