Intex has launched its Aqua Lions 4G smartphone in
India at Rs. 5,499. The
smartphone will be made available in Champagne and Grey colours by the company.
Intex is evidently looking to target the Indian Premier League (IPL) audience,
with the phone featuring partial Gujarat Lions branding.
The dual-SIM Intex Aqua Lions 4G runs Android 6.0
Marshmallow out-of-the-box. It sports a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display
with a pixel density of 196ppi. The Intex Aqua Lions 4G is powered by a
quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz and coupled with 1GB of RAM.
In terms of optics, the smartphone comes with a 5-megapixel
camera, tagged with flash, and a 2-megapixel camera at front. The Intex Aqua
Lions 4G houses 8GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via microSD card
(up to 64GB). The smartphone comes with a 2,000 mAh battery which is rated to
deliver up to 8 hours of talk time and up to 350 hours of standby time.
The Intex Aqua
Lions 4G comes with Bluetooth, WLAN, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a 3.5mm
headphone jack. The phone measures 143.8x72x9.8mm and weighs 146.7 grams.
