ASUS has announced the start of sales of
ultra-compact gaming PC ROG GR8 II. A distinctive feature of the PC - case
volume of 4 liters, with inside installed a high-performance gaming platform,
branded lighting, and efficient cooling system. To date, ROG GR8 II is the most
compact gaming PC with support for virtual reality. It uses high-grade graphics
card ASUS GeForce GTX 1060 and Intel Core i7 processor is the seventh
generation of microarchitecture-based Kaby Lake with standard DDR4 RAM up to 32
GB. This configuration easily cope with the latest resource-intensive games.
Two integrated HDMI 2.0 ports allow you to connect
simultaneously to the GR8 II helmet virtual reality and the external display.
ASUS ROG GR8 II has a set of gaming tools: Network Intel Gigabit Ethernet
controller, audio system The SupremeFX, utility for sound adjustments Sonic
Studio III, the technology for visualizing Sonic Radar III sound sources and

With two built-in HDMI 2.0 ports, you can simultaneously connect a virtual
reality helmet and monitor. In addition, gamers can connect up to three
monitors via built-in DisplayPort interface or up to two monitors with HDMI to

ASUS ROG GR8 II is equipped with a special cooling
system with copper heat pipes and dual fans which direct warm air from the CPU
and GPU for efficient cooling even during heavy use. The ROG GR8 II standby
mode consumes less than 30 watts, and the noise level is thus only 23 dB, which
is 24% quieter than conventional desktop computers. The computer is also used
audio based on the audio processor SupremeFX. Sonic Studio III is an advanced
software tool for fine-tuning the sound parameters.
