The Wileyfox latest device is the Swift 2X,
successor to last year’s Swift. The device features a 5.2-inch full HD device
with Gorilla Glass 3, along with the lower-end Snapdragon 430. Backing that is
3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
It features a USB-C port that is equipped with USB
2.0 and QuickCharge 3.0 support. Wileyfox claims this can make the 3,010 mAh
battery go from 0% to 75% in 55 minutes of charging. The device’s dimensions
are 144×72.2×8.8 mm, and it weighs in at 155 grams.
The device features a 16MP
Samsung camera on the rear and an 8MP Samsung camera on the front. Both
apparently feature an aperture of f/2.0, as well as PDAF. The rear camera
sensor in question is the Samsung 3L8 ISOCELL sensor, which is fairly
interesting to see.
The Swift 2X runs on a modified CyanogenMod 13.1
based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It features a hybrid dual sim card slot, as
well as a fingerprint sensor on the back. The pricing however seems to kill the
thing at GPB 219.99 (US$ 269).
