A few days ago we were able to get a small glimpse
of the possible specifications of HTC’s yet to be announced U Play and U Ultra
smartphones. And with the company expected to officially announce their new
devices tomorrow, more information on both of HTC’s new devices have leaked
once more giving us a better idea of their specifications.
According to the leaks, the HTC U Ultra (or HTC
Ocean Note), which is expected to be the company’s next flagship, will feature
a 6-inch WQHD resolution display, the just announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 835
(MSM8998) processor, 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, a dual rear camera
system with 24-megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors, a 16-megapixel front-facing
camera, a 4,000 mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint reader.
As for the HTC U Play (or HTC Alpine), which is
expected to be a mid-range device, the leak suggests that it will feature a
5.2-inch full HD resolution display, a MediaTek Helio P10 (MT6755) processor,
3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, 16-megapixel cameras on both the front
and the rear of the device, a 2,500 mAh battery, and a front-mounted fingerprint
sensor. According to previous leaks, both the HTC U Play and U Ultra will not
be equipped with 3.5 mm audio jacks.
The company is also expected to unveil a new HTC X10
although not much information has leaked regarding this device other than it
will feature a 3.5 mm audio jack, unlike the U Play and U Ultra, as well as a
5.5-inch display, a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, and 3GB of RAM.
