Teclast Tbook 16 Pro
I’m not really sure about
what’s up with Chinese tablet makers. They’ve either lost their minds, or they’re getting Intel’s Z8300 chips real cheap. I say so because
almost every tablet released in the last 6-8 months has an
Intel Z8300 processor. Meet the newest on the list, the Teclast Tbook 16 Pro.
At US$ 256, the Teclast
Tbook 16 Pro is a bit on the pricier side of the Z8300 tablet spectrum. It
comes with a rather large display — a 11.6-inch 1920 x 1080p one, along with a
10-point digitiser. With that, the Tbook 16 Pro has 4GB of RAM, 64GB on-board
ROM, a 2 mega-pixel camera on the front (no rear camera), and a 3.7V 7200 mAh
battery. In addition to Windows 10, the Tbook 16 Pro also runs Android 5.1 Lollipop.
There’s
nothing quite special about this tablet. Teclast, along with other Chinese
tablet makers, should consider shifting to an SoC that’s a bit more able. While
there’s nothing wrong with the Z8300, it’s the lack of options and the general
repetitiveness that’s getting on to us, and the buyers.
