TP-Link Neffos Y5L
Popular networking devices maker TP-Link
entered the smartphone arena in January with the launch of the Neffos C5,
Neffos C5L, and the Neffos C5 Max. Now the company has launched a new
entry-level offering dubbed the TP-Link Neffos Y5L. There’s no word on its
price, but the brand did reveal that the phone will soon be released in Europe,
Middle East, Africa, and the major Asian markets like India.
The TP-Link Neffos
Y5L offers a 4.5-inch IPS display bearing a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels. It
is powered by a 1.1 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 210 SoC, aided by an Adreno 304 GPU
and 1 GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8GB of internal memory, which users can
further increase up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card.
The Neffos Y5L offers a
5-megapixel primary snapper with autofocus and an LED flash, and a 2-megapixel
secondary shooter. Connectivity-wise, it offers dual-SIM slots, 3G, Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS. A 2,020 mAh battery keeps the phone running. The phone
will be available in white, black and yellow variants.
