Pebble Time Round in limited edition

Last month, Pebble returned to
Kickstarter for its next-gen wearables – the Pebble 2 and Pebble Time 2
smartwatches, and the Pebble Core fitness tracker. Now the brand has announced
limited editions of the Pebble Time Round (review), which is available in gold
and silver finishes.
The new Pebble Time Round is now
available in the same Kickstarter campaign for the latest Pebble wearables. It
sports a polished metal frame available in gold and silver hues, and comes with
a matching clasp and a 20 mm leather sports band. The refreshed model offers the
same colour e-paper screen, a stainless steel frame, a microphone, supports the
upcoming Pebble 4.0 software update, and up to two days of battery life.
The new Pebble Time Round silver and
gold colour variants are up for pre-order on Kickstarter for US$ 199 (around Rs
13,370) each. There’s also a Pebble Time Round and Pebble 2 bundle that is
available for US$ 298 (approx. Rs 20,000). The new Time Round smartwatch will
start shipping in September. The project backers will also be able to customise
their smartwatches with an optional laser-engraved message.
