LYF Wind 1 and Water 7
Reliance Retail has launched two new
smartphone under its LYF brand dubbed the LYF Wind 1 and Water 7. Both new LYF
smartphones run Android 5.1 Lollipop, and offer 4G LTE with VoLTE support. The
LYF Wind 1 is a mid-range offering, while the Water 7 is a high-end smartphone,
which comes with a metal unibody design and sports a fingerprint sensor on the
back right below the rear camera.
Talking about the LYF Wind 1 first, the
phone offers a 5-inch HD IPS display with a layer of Asahi’s Dragontrail Glass.
The phone utilises a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor,
aided by an Adreno 306 GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB of internal
memory, further expandable up to 64 GB via a microSD card. The camera features include
an 8 MP autofocus rear snapper with an LED flash, and a 5 MP secondary shooter.
The device is fuelled by a 2,300 mAh battery.
The LYF Water 7 on the other hand,
sports a 5.5-inch full HD display with Asahi Dragontrail Glass on top. It is
powered by an octa-core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, coupled with
2 GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU. The phone comes with a 13-megapixel rear
snapper with autofocus and an LED flash, and a 3,000 mAh battery. The rest of
its specs are similar to the Wind 1.
The LYF Wind 1 has been priced at Rs
6,899, and comes in black and white hues. The Water 7 is priced at Rs 12,999,
and is being offered in gold and silver variants. They will be available across
channels in the country.
