Karbonn Quattro L52,
Titanium Mach Six
Karbonn has unveiled
two new smartphones - the Quattro L52 and Titanium Mach 6 - bundled with a
Karbonn VR headset in India. Both the Karbonn Quattro L52 and Karbonn Titanium
Mach Six smartphones are priced at Rs. 8,790 and Rs. 7,490 respectively, and
come with the company's new Karbonn VR headset.
Karbonn says that its
virtual reality (VR) headset is made of sturdy ABS plastic fibre that can offer
an "enhanced life-like viewing experience."
The domestic handset maker
adds that the VR headset comes fitted with bi-convex lenses which augment a
video to provide a theatre-like experience. Karbonn says that both Karbonn
Quattro L52 and Titanium Mach Six come pre-installed with a VR app which will
allow users to create their own VR videos.
The
Karbonn Quattro L52 features a 5-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) 2.5D
curved glass display; powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor; 2 GB of RAM; 16 GB
of inbuilt storage; expandable storage support via microSD card (up to 32 GB);
8-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, and 5-megapixel front camera. The
dual-SIM smartphone supports 4G and packs 2,250 mAh battery which is rated to
deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 300 hours. It
measures 145x72x9.9 mm and weighs 143 grams. The Quattro L52 will be available
in Champagne and White colours.
The Karbonn Titanium Mach
Six features a 6-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display, and a quad-core processor
clocked at 1.3 GHz. The smartphone packs 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage
that's expandable via microSD card (up to 32 GB). It bears a large 3,300 mAh
battery. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based Titanium Mach Six sports an 8-megapixel
rear camera and a 3.2-megapixel front camera. It supports dual-SIM and comes
with 3G connectivity support. The Titanium Mach Six doesn't support 4G LTE.
