Intex Aqua Classic
Intex has added a new budget Android
smartphone to its portfolio today. Dubbed the Intex Aqua Classic, the
entry-level offering runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, and comes pre-loaded with
several apps like Matrabhasha, Clean Master, Hike Messenger, Mobikwik,
Freecharge, Saavn, and Opera Mini.
The Intex Aqua Classic offers a 5-inch
display bearing a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels with a layer of Corning’s
Gorilla Glass 3 on top. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor of
unknown make, mated to 1 GB of RAM. The phone comes with 8 GB of internal memory,
further expandable up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card. For imaging, it
offers a 5-megapixel rear snapper with an LED flash, and a VGA front shooter. Connectivity-wise, it offers dual-SIM slots,
3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS. A 2,100 mAh battery keeps the phone running.
The Intex Aqua Classic has been priced
at Rs 4,444, and will be available on e-commerce portals and via major
brick-and-mortar retail stores across the country. The phone comes in Champagne
and Grey Metal colour choices.
