Microsoft Xbox One S
Microsoft had unveiled the Xbox One S
last month and now the company has announced the launch date for its next
generation Xbox.
The 2TB launch edition Xbox One S will
be available in limited quantities in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada,
Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland,
Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain,
Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and United States. It will come to other
markets later this year.
Those who have pre-ordered the Xbox One
S will arrive on August 2 while others can still pre-order a 2TB Xbox One S
launch edition through microsoftstore.com and select retailers. The Xbox One S
is 40 percent smaller than the original Xbox One and adds support for 4K / HDR
video. It comes with a newly designed Xbox Wireless Controller and supports
Bluetooth.
The 2 TB launch edition Xbox One S will
be available in limited quantities for US$ 399 on August 2. Microsoft is also
be offering the console with 1 TB and 500 GB hard drives for US$ 349 and US$ 299, respectively.
