Lava IvoryS 4G
Lava has launched a new Android tablet
dubbed the IvoryS 4G. The slate comes as a 4G LTE-enabled variant of the Lava
IvoryS, which was launched in April 2014. Apart from the regular connectivity
options, the device offers dual-SIM slots and voice calling capabilities. The
budget tablet runs Android 5.1 Lollipop, but there's no word if it will be
getting the Marshmallow update or not.
The Lava IvoryS 4G sports a 7-inch
display bearing a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels. The slate utilises a 1 GHz
quad-core processor of unknown make, mated to 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB
internal memory, further expandable up to 32 GB by inserting a microSD card. For
imaging, the device offers a 5 MP autofocus rear snapper with an LED flash and
full HD video recording, and a 3.2 MP selfie shooter. A 3,000 mAh battery keeps
it alive, promising to offer up to eight hours of talk time.
The Lava IvoryS 4G has been priced at Rs
8,799, and will be available on e-commerce portals and major brick-and-mortar
retail stores across the country. The slate comes in blue with black and white
with silver colour variants.
