Intex Aqua 4G Strong


Intex has unveiled its new 4G-enabled budget Aqua 4G Strong smartphone at a price of Rs. 4,499. The smartphone is now listed on the company's site though no availability details are provided.

Intex lately has been expanding its 4G smartphone portfolio with launches in sub-Rs. 10,000 category. The biggest highlight of the Intex Aqua 4G Strong is it features 4G LTE as well as voice over LTE (VoLTE), which means it should work on the upcoming Reliance Jio 4G network. According to the official Intex listing, the Aqua 4G Strong supports the two LTE bands in India - FDD 1800 MHz (Band 3) and TDD 2300 MHz (Band 40).

For specifications, the Aqua 4G Strong features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800 pixels) and comes with a pixel density of 233ppi. The Android 5.1 Lollipop-based smartphone comes with dual-SIM support. It is powered by a 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735M) processor clubbed with 768 MB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of inbuilt storage and supports expandable storage up to 32 GB via microSD card.


The Intex Aqua 4G Strong sports a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. The rear camera is accompanied by an LED flash. The Aqua 4G Strong is backed by a 1,700 mAh battery rated to deliver up to 6 hours of talk time and standby time of up to 240 hours. Connectivity options on the smartphone include GPRS/ EDGE, 3G, 4G, VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and Micro-USB.
