HP Pavilion x2 2016 Edition
HP announced the new 12.1-inch HP
Pavilion x2 Windows 10 2-in1 tablet today, which replaces the perfectly
acceptable predecessor with the same name, just a slightly smaller display.
But the new HP Pavilion x2 will be
powered by and option of either Intel Atom or Intel Core M processor, so that’s
an interesting model difference right there, with quite a large difference in
performance.
So understandably, the rest of the specs
will vary greatly too, meaning that RAM options goes from 2 GB to 8 GB of RAM,
while storage options are 64 GB to 128 GB to 256 GB of storage.
The display resolution is 1920 x 1280,
and also has active digitizer support, with Bang & Olufsen audio. The Wi-Fi
supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, while remaining specs include USB 3.1 Type-C port,
one USB 2.0 port, and a micro-HDMI port.
HP expects to launch the HP Pavilion x2
models on February 7. The price starts at US$ 499 with Intel Atom, and US$ 599 with
Intel Core m3. Battery life is an estimated 8 hours, from a battery capacity of
33 Whr. This looks like it will become an
interesting mid-range Windows 10 2-in-1 tablet.
