Fairphone 2 features a 5.5-inches IPS
touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (FHD). The FHD display
resolution is suitable for daily usage without any problem.
For performance-wise, the new smartphone
is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor and 2 GB of RAM
memory. The internal storage of Fairphone 2 is 32 GB.
This 5.5-inches device features an
8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash alongside a 2-megapixel
front-facing camera for selfie and video calls. The LED flash is indeed useful
for night scene and low light condition. Other key features/specs of this
martphone are USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS
and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
Regarding its network support, Fairphone
2 is compatible with multiple LTE network bands. As a result, the device
supports at least download speed on 4G of 150 Mbps and upload speed on 4G of
50 Mbps. Kindly check with local carriers on network support of this device.
Besides that, Fairphone 2 also has two SIM card slots.
Android 5.1 Lollipop is the operating
system of Fairphone 2. As for the battery, it does come with 2,420 mAh of
battery juice. This Lollipop flavoured smartphone is
available in black color, but the price is not known during press time.
