Garmin Vivofit 3
Garmin has launched not only one but two
fitness trackers; the first one is the Vivoactive HR, a successor to the
Vivoactive smartband launched last year. The second fitness tracker that we are
talking about is the Vivofit 3; it’s the latest iteration in the Vivofit
fitness band series. Fancier than ever, the new sleek activity tracker features
one-year battery life, thanks to the tiny backlit display it comes with.
The Vivofit 3 boasts water resistant
feature up to 50 meters and offers swappable accessory bands, which will be
available in a number of colors and styles so that you can dress for the
occasion. The new band adds Move IQ auto activity detection, what it means is
that you don’t have to worry about tracking those forgetful exercises anymore,
as you’ll get automatic credits for that.
The small backlit display on this
tracker now showcases your daily progress With Garmin Move bar. You’ll also see
calories burned, distance travelled, intensity minutes and the clock. It’s
traditionally not a smartwatch but offers certain features of it. The tracker
is also capable of giving audible inactivity reminder alerts, to keep you
going. It is priced at US$ 99 while you’ll have to spend few extra bucks if you
want additional stylish bands. Though, you’ll have to wait for them a lot, as
they ship sometime in Q2 2016
