ZTE Blade V Plus
In December last year, ZTE had launched
the new mid-range smartphone ZTE Blade A711 in Malaysia. Now the company has
announced the ZTE Blade V Plus in Australia with the same design as Blade A711
but sports a different processor. It comes with some good mid-range
specifications and is built into a metal body that offers great strength to the
Blade V Plus.
The build metal device comes with a
5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. It is powered by a
MediaTek MT6753 octa-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz while the Blade A711
sports a much better Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz.
There is 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage out of which 11.2 GB is
available to the end user; it also has a microSD card slot with a support of
upto 32 GB.
It runs on vanilla flavored Android 5.1
Lollipop unlike the device in Asia that features custom skin with few
modifications. The device supports dual SIM dual standby by using hybrid SIM
slot where you can opt-in for a MicroSD card instead of the second SIM. Coming
to the camera of the device, it has a 13 MP rear camera with autofocus and LED
flash and on the front is a 5 MP selfie camera.
The device is backed by a 3,000 mAh
non-removable Li-ion battery that is rated to deliver 9 hours of talk time and
220 hours on standby. It also has a fingerprint sensor mounted on the rear of
the device that makes it a bit more secure. Connectivity on this device
includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS/A-GPS, and a Micro USB 2.0 port.
It measures 155.3 x 77.2 x 8.5 mm and weighs around 164 grams. It is priced at
