Titan JUXT
Titan, a household name in India when it
comes to the reliable watches, the brand has an impressive presence nationwide
with its watch collection. Now with increased activities in the smart wearables
in the country, the watchmaker has jumped the bandwagon and introduced their
first smartwatch called Juxt. It is a big deal when world’s fifth largest
watchmaker, part of Tata Group enters into the smartwatch business.
The JUXT is a fusion of analog and
smartwatch, which is the least of the statement, offering three variants, the
Titan Smartwatch will come in Titanium, Stainless Steel and Rose Gold. Priced
between Rs 15,995 to Rs 19,995, varying according to the variant you choose, it
could be a real good choice rather than going with a full-fledged smartwatch.
Aimed at providing the essence of classic analog styled watch, it would be
catering the need of a very particular set; consumers who want experience of
both the world and this could be the way for them to have that experience.
The watch is launched in collaboration
with technology giant HP, as it would also help Titan to make an international
presence in the markets like the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
These three markets would be on watchmaker’s eye to catch some action happening
in the smart wearables industry. It would be selling in the international
market with the help of HP’s distribution network. The company is also keen on
launching this new brand of Titan in five or six more countries apart from the
above mentioned.
Featuring a subtle honeycomb designed
dial, the timepiece is said to have 3D indices and a leather strap. It can be
paired with smartphones having Android 4.4 or iOS 8.1 operating system and
above. Supporting multiple OS means the more horizons for the smartwatch. It is
currently available to pre-order from company’s E-Commerce store as well as it
can be pre-booked from Myntra.
