Lenovo ThinkPad X1


On the eve of the Consumer Electronics Show 2016, Lenovo announced a series of notebooks, candy bars, tablets and other devices. One of the most unusual devices became tablet computer ThinkPad X1 with a unique modular design. Especially for that device manufacturers have developed a number of modules that can extend its standard features.

For ThinkPad X1 will be available the following plug-ins:
  • an extra battery, provides a total of 15 hours of battery life of the tablet;
  • module with integrated pico projector and HDMI-connector;
  • module with 3D-camera Intel RealSense for creation of 3D-models of objects.

For ThinkPad X1 also developed a proprietary connectable keyboard style ThinkPad, supported by three tilt angles for greater ease of typing. The weight of the tablet with the keyboard is only about 1.1 kg, which is comparable to the weight of ultrabooks. In addition, the world's first tablet on Windows with support for LTE Advanced and the ability to download files at speeds up to 300 Mbit / s.

Among other features of Lenovo ThinkPad X1 is worth noting a fingerprint scanner and a special security chip Trusted Platform Module, SSD Samsung M.2 NVMe SSD up to 1 TB, robust housing, the last two hundred stress tests Lenovo and technology support WiGig.
