Mobile kicks off its new lineup of Intel powered tablets with the MAIA Smart
Tab that can dual boot to Windows 8.1 or Android 4.4 Kitkat.
Users
can choose to use Android and enjoy thousands of apps and games or Windows and
become productive on-the-go with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
Cherry
Mobile MAIA Smart Tab is an 8-inch tablet with a 2 Megapixel front camera and 5
Megapixel snapper at the back.
The
aforementioned Intel processor is the Intel Atom Z3735F which is quad core and
has a maximum speed of 1.83 GHz. There’s also 2 GB of RAM which is plenty for
both operating systems.
Built-in
storage is 32 GB but there’s a microSD card slot for additional space for music,
videos and other files. Meanwhile, a 3,800 mAh battery powers the tablet.
The
Cherry Mobile MAIA Smart Tab has an official suggested retail price of PHP 4,999. It will be available starting at the end of September.
