Blade V2 & Blade V6
ZTE has recently launched a series
of devices under its Blade
series called as Blade X3, X5, and X9 smartphones in Russia.
Today, the company has announced two new smartphones called as Blade V2 and Blade V6 but this time in Australia. Both the smartphones
support dual sim dual standby with 4G-LTE connectivity.

The Blade V2 is the budget smartphone,
and the company claims that it is the smartphone ‘Premium for the masses.’
Coming to its specifications, the device flaunts a 5-inch (1280×720 pixels) HD
IPS display with pixel density of 294ppi. It comes powered by MediaTek MT6735
quad-core processor clocked at 1.0 GHz paired with 1 GB RAM, 8 GB onboard storage
and microSD card slot for expansion upto 32 GB. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop
out of the box.
The device sports an 8 MP autofocus rear
camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing snapper for video calling and
selfie lovers. Connectivity options on the smartphone include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi,
GPS and microUSB port. It comes backed by a 2200 mAh battery that can last upto
9 hours of talk time and upto 180 hours of standby time. The dimensions of the
handset measure 145.5 x 71 x 7.8 mm and weighs 121 grams.

The Blade V6 is a mid-range all-metal
smartphone that is aimed to be an “Affordable Premium” metal bodied Android
handset. The Blade V6 comes with a 5-inch (720×1280 pixels) HD On-Cell display
offering a pixel density of 294ppi. It comes equipped with MediaTek MT6735
quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz coupled with 2 GB RAM, 16 GB internal
storage and can be further expanded to 32 GB using a microSD card slot.
On the camera section, the device
features a 13 MP Sony IMX214 rear camera with autofocus, LED flash, and a 5 MP
front-facing camera to capture perfect selfie images. It comes backed by a
2200 mAh battery and comes with basic connectivity options like Bluetooth 4.0,
GPS/A-GPS, Wi-Fi and microUSB port. The device runs on older Android 5.0.2
Lollipop out of the box. Even with these specifications the handset is very
slim with just 6.8 mm thickness and weighs 121 grams.
The ZTE Blade V2 and Blade V6 are currently
listed on the ZTE’s Australian Website without mentioning any details on the
pricing and availability of the smartphones.
