The
Indian smartphone manufacturer, Celkon has today launched a new affordable
voice-calling tablet called as Celkon CT722. The tablet comes with entry-level
specifications and will be available for purchase exclusively online via
Snapdeal priced at Rs. 4,999.
Commenting
on the launch, Y Guru, Chairman and Managing Director, Celkon Mobiles said,

Talking
about its specifications, the Celkon CT722 flaunts a 7-inch (600×1024 pixels)
WSVGA display offering a pixel density of 196ppi. The device packs an Intel
Atom x3-C3230RK quad-core processor clocked at 1.1 GHz coupled with Mali 450 MP4
GPU and 1 GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB of built-in storage that is further
expandable via a microSD card slot upto 32 GB.
On
the camera front, the tablet sports a 3.2 MP rear camera with LED flash and a
1.3 MP front-facing shooter for video calling. The single SIM supported tablet
offers basic connectivity options like 2G/3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB
port with OTG functionality. The tablet comes backed by a 2800 mAh battery and
runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box. The Celkon CT722 will be available
in White, Blue and Black color variants.
