ZTE Nubia Z11
In October, a new ZTE handset named
Nubia Z9 Max Elite had been officially launched by the company featuring a
bezel-less display as seen on the earlier Nubia Z9 series of smartphones. It
also sports side mounted fingerprint sensor along with all metal body. The
company had also announced special edition Nubia Z9, Z9 Max, Z9 Mini on the
occasion of Nubia brands third anniversary.
Though all these can be listed as the
variants of the original Nubia Z9, few leaked images suggesting a new flagship
to be launched by the company at the upcoming CES 2016. The device will be
named as ‘Nubia Z11‘ and comes with all new bezel-less display. It uses the
patented Frame interactive Technology (FiT) that makes uses of the frame to
interacting with the device while the Nubia Z9 was the first device to use this
technology, now it might come with much-improved functionalities.
The innovative arc Refractive Conduction
(aRC) technology is what ZTE using to hide the edge of the display instead of
using the frame. Apart from the all new display technologies, the Nubia Z11
will also be one of the powerful device available in the market after its
launch. It sports a 5.2-inch Quad HD display and runs on the Android 6.0
Marshmallow with customized Nubia UI.
Unlike the edge displays on few of the
Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the top glass layer is only curved but not the
whole display, this is similar to that of Blackberry Priv. The extra curved
display can be used for gesture supported shortcuts, and we expect the company
to come with some innovative features by the time of the actual launch. It has
an iconic Nubia ring that serves as a home button.
Under the hood, it is powered by the
recently unveiled 64-bit Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor. While the devices
powered by this new chipset will be available in the 1H of 2016, we can expect
the device to be unveiled in early 2016. It has 4 GB of RAM and 12 8GB of
internal storage. As seen in the images, the fingerprint sensor is added on the
rear of the device.
It has 20.7 MP rear camera with dual tone
LED Flash and a 13 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. In the
meantime, we will see the launch of new flagships like Vivo X6, Xiaomi Mi 5,
and Samsung Galaxy S7.
