Karbonn Titanium Moghul
A new entry-level smartphone from
Karbonn called as Titanium Moghul has been listed online. The device is priced
at Rs. 5,399 and comes with basic specifications. It comes built into a plastic
body with Chrome finished frame around the device. Though there is no
information from the company, the device is already available through online
and offline stores.
The device has a 5-inch IPS display with
qHD resolution along with a Dragontrail Glass protection on top of it. It is
powered by a MediaTek MT6592 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. The
pre-installed Swiftkey keyboard allows users to communicate in 22 languages,
and the Gesture Flip option enables the controlling few options without touch
the device.
It has a 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal
storage that can be further expandable via MicroSD card slot. The device runs
on the outdated Android 4.4 Kitkat while almost all the recently launched
device came with Android 5.0 Lollipop out-of-the-box. The recently launched
Xiaomi Redmi Note Prime is the one those from major brands that still launched
with Android 4.4 Kitkat.
On the camera part, it has an 8 MP rear
camera with autofocus and LED flash, there is a 3.2 MP front camera for selfies
and video calls. It supports dual SIM dual standby but doesn’t support 4G LTE.
The Lenovo A2010 and Phicomm Energy 653 are priced lower than the Titanium
Moghul came with 4G LTE support and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
The device is backed by a 2,000 mAh
removable battery that is expected to give decent battery life. Connectivity
options includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and MicroUSB 2.0. As of now,
the device is available only in Blue color, while the Champagne color can be
expected soon.
