Viaan Mobiles Line-up


A new smartphone called Viaan to debut in the Indian market. The company had launched four smartphones and one feature phone. The brand owned by the Indian film actress Shilpa Shetty. The devices run on Android OS with almost stock UI.

The list of smartphones includes Viaan Eternal 4GEncoreEmpower, and Emerge. Among all the four, the Eternal 4G is the best device and is also the only device to come with 4G LTE. There is also a feature phone named Viaan V 1.8 that comes with VGA rear camera and a dual SIM support. The internet can also be accessed through this device, and it costs only Rs. 849.


In details, the Viaan Eternal 4G comes with a 5.5-inch display with HD resolution. It comes powered by MediaTek Quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz along with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of inbuilt storage that can further expandable through MicroSD card. It is backed by the 2,780 mAh battery that can give decent battery life. The device also includes a fingerprint sensor placed on the rear of the device.

The Eternal 4G runs on outdated Android 4.4 KitKat while the company assured to release the Android 5.1 Lollipop via OTE update. It has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5 MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The device will be available in the Black and Gold colors that are priced at R. 12,499 and Rs. 12,999 respectively.



The second smartphone in the list is the Encore that sports a 5-inch FWVGA display. Under the hood is the 1.2 GHz quad-core processor with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. It supports dual SIM dual standby but lacks the 4G LTE connectivity. The device has an 8 MP rear camera, 3.2 MP selfie camera, and a 2,000 mAh battery. It measures just 8 mm thick and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat.



The Viaan Empower comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA display and is powered by the same 1.2 GHz quad-core processor as seen on the Encore. It has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage along with MicroSD card slot. It is backed by a 1,800 mAh battery and will be available in Black and Grey colors.



The fourth and last smartphone from the list is Viaan Emerge, and it comes with basic specifications required for Android smartphone. It has a 4-inch WVGA IPS display and an unknown dual-core processor. There is 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of internal storage and a 1,400 mAh battery. This dual SIM device includes a 2 MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera.

Coming to the pricing, the Eternal 4G is the costliest device among the four smartphones with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. While the Encore, Empower, and Emerge are entry-level smartphones priced at Rs. 5,499, Rs. 4,899, and Rs. 3,499 respectively. As of now the company has 450 service centers across India.
