ASUS Zenfone Go 4.5


ASUS had launched its most affordable Zenfone Smartphone here in India today. The ASUS Zenfone Go 4.5 priced at Rs. 5,299 is an entry-level smartphone that comes with basic specifications. Apart from the RAM, we can find many other specifications have been lowered to make the device much cheaper.

It comes with a smaller 4.5-inch display with FWVGA (854 x 480) resolution. The devices are powered by 1.3 GHz MediaTek MT6580 quad-core processor and includes 1 GB of RAM. It has 8 GB of internal storage that can be further expandable up to 64 GB via provided MicorSD card slot.

The device runs on ZenUI 2.0 based on Android 5.1 Lollipop and supports dual SIM dual standby. It has a 5 MP rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, and a 0.3 MP selfie camera with fixed focus on the front. 

It has a 1,600 mAh removable polymer battery that can give up to 10.9 hours of talk time and lasts up to 355 hours on standby. The device lacks the 4G LTE support that can found in the other devices at this same price range. Connectivity options on this device include 3G HSPA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/A-GPS, and a MicroUSB 2.0 port. It will also be available via offline stores starting from January 2016.

The Zenfone Go 4.5 feels bulky in hand by measuring 10.1 mm thick and weighing 133 grams. While the company mentioned the device to be available in the Black, White, Pink, and Blue colors; Flipkartlisted only the Black color variant of Zenfone Go.
