Onda V820w CH


Onda has officially launched a new next-generation budget tablet called the V820w CH which runs a full-blown version of Windows 10.



The Onda V820w CH is equipped with Intel’s latest 14nm x5-Z8300 quad-core processor which is coupled with 2 GB of DDR3L RAM. The new Intel Cherry Trail processor is clocked at 1.84 GHz and features Intel’s latest Turbo Boost technology as well as 8th generation HD graphics that supports the latest DirectX 11 technology.


The V820w CH features an all-white plastic body that measures only 8.9 mm thin, weighs 355 grams, and holds the tablet’s 8-inch IPS screen with a display resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It’s also equipped with 32 GB of internal storage, a microSD slot that supports up to a 128 GB card, a front and rear 2-megapixel rear camera, and a 4200 mAh battery.

As previously mentioned, the V820w CH comes pre-installed with a full blown Windows 10 operating system which comes with Microsoft’s Edge browser, Cortana virtual assistant, and more. The new tablet is also capable of 4K playback through its Micro HDMI output port as well as through Intel’s WiDi wireless protocol. Users can pair both a mouse and a keyboard with the V820w CH via Bluetooth 4.0.


The Onda V820w CH will be available through select retailers tomorrow for only 499 Yuan for the 32 GB model and will come with a Bluetooth wireless keyboard from select retailers.
