CUBE
i6 REMIX
Chinese
tablet manufacturer CUBE has officially unveiled their latest 10-inch tablet
called the i6 REMIX, the updated version of the company’s original i6 tablet,
which will be available through Jingdong for an affordable price of 699 Yuan.
Design-wise,
the i6 REMIX looks very much like the original i6 with its aluminum body and
9.7-inch screen with a 2048 x 1536 retina display resolution.
On
the inside, the i6 REMIX features an Intel 64-bit Z3735 quad-core processor
which is a 22 nm chip with a frequency of 1.8 GHz coupled with 7th generation
Intel HD Graphics chip which supports DirectX1. It also features 2 GB of RAM,
32 GB of internal storage, support for expandable storage up to 32 GB, a
5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, and a humongous
8000 mAh battery giving the i6 REMIX an estimated battery life of up to 12 hours
of continuous video playback.
The i6 REMIX will be powered by
CUBE’s own Remix OS which is an Android-based operating system optimized for
large-screen tablets and use with external keyboards. Remix OS allows apps to
run in either full-screen or windowed mode which can easily be switched between
using keyboard shortcuts.
The CUBE i6 REMIX will be available through Chinese
online market Jingdong sometime in early October for a price of 699 Yuan.
