HTC Desire 520 Cricket

The HTC Desire 520 will be available starting tomorrow, to customers of pre-paid carrier Cricket. Priced at US$ 99.99, the model will be a Cricket exclusive in the U.S. Unveiled by HTC last July, this is a low-end handset plain-and-simple. The Desire 520 is equipped with a 4.5-inch screen, carrying a 480 x 854 resolution. That works out to a pixel density of 218 ppi.

Under the hood, you will find the Snapdragon 210 SoC, featuring a quad-core 1.1 GHz CPU and the Adreno 304 GPU. 1 GB of RAM is inside, along with 8 GB of native storage. Those requiring additional memory can use the 2 TB capacity microSD slot. The camera combo weighs in at 8MP/2MP from back to front, and a 2000 mAh battery keeps the generator humming. Android 5.1 is pre-installed with Sense 7 running on top. The handset supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity.

The HTC Desire 520 comes with a "Double Exposure" feature, allowing you to show off your creative side by combining images. The Extreme Power Mode will allow you to keep your phone running for a week on just a single charge, or last overnight with just 10% battery life remaining.
