brand UPQ has officially launched its latest smartphone in Japan – the UPQ
Phone A01. The new UPQ Phone A01 smartphone is a low end Android smartphone
with 4G LTE support and let’s take a look at the specs.
UPQ
Phone A01 smartphone has a 4.5-inch LCD display with 854x480 pixels
resolution (FWVGA). It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6735 quad-core processor
based on Cortex A53 as well as Mali T720 GPU and 1 GB of RAM memory. The
internal storage of UPQ Phone A01 is 8 GB and supports storage expansion through
microSD card.
The
4.5-inch smartphone features a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera with LED flash
alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calls. Both
cameras are equipped with CMOS image sensor for better camera experience. Other
key features/specs of UPQ Phone A01 smartphone are USB OTG, 3.5 mm audio
jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n (dual band).

Phone A01 is compatible with FDD-LTE 2100(B1)/1800(B3)/800(B19)/700(B28) MHz,
W-CDMA 2100(I)/800(XIX) MHz and GSM 1900/1800/900/850 MHz networks. The device
supports maximum download speed on 4G of 150 Mbps and maximum download speed on
4G of 50 Mbps due to the LTE Cat. 4. UPQ Phone A01 is a dual SIM smartphone,
hence, users are able to insert two SIM cards into the device.

Phone A01is running on Android 5.1 Lollipop version of operating system and
comes with 1,800 mAh of battery juice.
This
Lollipop flavoured smartphone comes in blue/green, black and white colors and
is priced at ¥ 14,500 in Japan.
