Samsung Galaxy Ring

Samsung has launched the Galaxy Ring, the company’s first smart ring in India. Designed for 24/7 health monitoring, the Galaxy Ring comes in 9 different sizes, ranging from Size 5 to Size 13.  Weighing just 2.3 grams for Size 5 with a width of just 7.0 mm, Galaxy Ring is ultra-lightweight, making it ideal for all-day wear, said the company.

The weight of Galaxy Ring varies with size, going up to 3 grams for the biggest size (Size 13). Its distinct concave design adds a touch of elegance while maintaining durability. It promises up to 7 days of battery life, encased in a specially designed charging case that features aesthetic LED lighting to indicate charging status. The charging case comes with a clamshell design reminiscent of a jewellery box.

The Galaxy Ring seamlessly integrates with Samsung Health, providing comprehensive health insights without a subscription. It includes:

  • Advanced sleep analysis with an AI algorithm for understanding sleep patterns and promoting healthier habits.
  • Monitoring of new sleep metrics such as movement, sleep latency, heart rate, and respiratory rate.
  • Cycle Tracking for monitoring menstrual cycles via overnight skin temperature.

Galaxy AI generates detailed health reports, including the Energy Score, which evaluates physical and mental well-being based on sleep quality, activity levels, sleeping heart rate, and heart rate variability. It also provides personalized wellness tips and motivational messages tailored to users’ individual health data and interests.

The Galaxy Ring supports heart health with its Heart Rate Alert, notifying users of abnormal heart rates in real-time via the Samsung Health app. It also includes Live Heart Rate Check for detailed metrics such as beats per minute and duration. Additionally, it features Auto Workout Detection for automatic tracking of walking and running, Inactive Alert for daily fitness reminders, gesture controls for functions like capturing photos or dismissing alarms, and the Find My Ring feature for locating the ring using a Galaxy smartphone.

The Samsung Galaxy Ring comes in Titanium Black, Titanium Silver and Titanium Gold, and is priced at Rs. 38,999 and will be available on Samsung.com, select retail stores, Amazon.in and Flipkart.com. Customers who are unsure about their ring size have the option to first get a sizing kit to verify the best fit before purchasing the Galaxy Ring. You need to add the size in the ‘My Order’ page within 14 days of receiving the Sizing Kit. If size not updated after the 14 days, your order will be automatically cancelled. The Galaxy Ring is also available for purchase starting at Rs.  1,625 per month with 24 months No Cost EMI across leading bank cards as well as financing through Samsung Finance+ and Bajaj Finance. In addition, Samsung is also offering a 25W Travel adapter for purchases till 18th October 2024.
