Lenovo has introduced its latest Legion Tab Y700 model in China, as the successor to last year’s model, which was actually launched in India recently. This retains the 8.8″ 2.5K LCD screen, but has 165Hz refresh rate and is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, replacing the 8+ Gen 1 SoC in the predecessor. This gets up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The VC area is 10004mm², and is claimed to be “larger than a mobile phone screen.”
The Super Control Smart Edition screen is
available as an option, which improves smoothness by 4.1 times, reduces screen
glare by 96.5%, and reduces flash points by 45% compared to conventional
anti-glare screens, says the company. It retains the 6550mAh battery and gets a
faster 68W fast charging compared to 45W in the predecessor.

256GB model and 16GB + 512GB model costs 3299 yuan (USD 470) as a part of offer during pre-sale. It will go on sale in China
starting from October 25th. The Lenovo Legion Tab Y700 (2024) Ice Soul White is
priced at 2999 yuan (USD 427) for 12GB + 256GB model and
16GB + 512GB model costs 3399 yuan (USD 484) and will be
available in China soon.
The Legion Tab Y700 (2024) Super Control Smart Edition in Carbon Crystal Black is priced at 3299 yuan (USD 470) for 12GB + 256GB model and 16GB + 512GB model costs 3699 yuan (USD 527). The Ice White 16GB+512GB model costs, 3799 yuan (USD 541).
