HONOR Magic 7 and 7 Pro


HONOR Magic 7 Series renders and major details were leaked ahead of its official October launch. The leak came from a public Facebook group HONOR Global Club and was posted by a fan. Based on the leaks, they have retained the same design language as their predecessor at least for the camera bump. The colors are changed to White, Gray, Black, and Green with a marble-like texture at the back.

In front, both will sport 120Hz + 8T LTPO screens and 4320Hz PWM dimming. You can differentiate them as the Magic 7 will have a smaller 6.78-inch size at 1.5K resolution while the Magic 7 Pro will have a 6.82-inch size and 2K resolution. The devices will be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip with 5.5G connectivity. They are paired with 12GB/16GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage options.

For battery, the vanilla version will have 5,700mAh + 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The Pro variant will sport a 6,000mAh size + 100W charging and 66W wireless charging. For cameras, the Magic 7 will have a 50MP OV50H main shooter + 50MP Sony IMX882 ultra-wide sensor + 50MP Sony LYT-600 3x periscope zoom sensor.

The Magic 7 Pro will have a different main shooter at 50MP OV50K but retains the same ultra-wide and periscope sensors. For selfies, the Magic 7 has a 50MP shooter then the Pro will have a 50MP shooter + 3D sensor. Others will IP68 rating for the based version while the Pro gets an IP68/69 rating for dust and water resistance.

Both will offer 5.5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC connectivity. For OS, the two will run MagicOS 9.0 with new-gen AI. Keep in mind that these renders and vital details are still unofficial. We will have to wait for the October 30 release date to confirm the accuracy of this information. Until then, you may take them with a grain of salt.
