The Xiaomi Mix Flip was announced in July and a week after that, a country manager mentioned that the foldable is slated for a global launch. Now there is confirmation of that straight from the top. CEO Lei Jun posted on X that the Mix Flip will become available globally starting in September. He didn’t give an exact date, but there isn’t much left of the month, so we won’t have to wait more than a week or two.
The post is a response to a poll that Lei
Jun posted a few days after the Mix launch. The results from that poll were
overwhelmingly positive with nearly 80% of voters being excited to have the Mix
Flip available in their region.
There are no confirmed details on the
price just yet, but we heard that it will be € 1,300 in Central and Eastern
Europe (US$ 1,400 or so). Of course, that is based on what a regional manager said
back in July, so plans may have changed.
