The upcoming Huawei Watch GT 5 will make its debut in just a few days on September 19 but a very revealing leak just popped up, showing the watch's design, accompanied with some general specs and info. The official-looking renders depict a familiar design for both 41mm and 46mm sizes. Both variants look a lot like their predecessors and reportedly adopt the same build too. We've got a metal bezel, stainless steel body and 5ATM water resistance. The rotating crown and the programmable button next to it are here to stay.
There's not much change to the hardware
either. The 41mm option will remain with a 1.32" OLED display, while the
46mm flavor will carry a 1.43" display. Huawei also promises between 7 and
14 days of battery life, indicating no upgrade in that department either.
It looks as if the only major upgrade in
this year's Watch GT 5 lineup is the company's TruSense system for health and
fitness tracking. It was introduced in late August, showing a slew of new
features and advanced tracking. What remains now is pricing and availability,
so stay tuned for the upcoming Huawei Watch GT 5 event next week.
