Sony ZV-E10 II

Sony announces the 2nd generation of its ZV-E10 alongside a new E PX 16-50mm OSS II lens. The second generation Sony mirrorless camera uses the same 26MP sensor as the Sony FX30 and a6700. It also has various enhancements over its predecessor, including speedier performance and compatibility with Sony's small cine-focused cameras. The Sony E PZ 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II lens is an update to the previous Sony APS-C kit zoom.

The said 26MP APS-C Exmor R CMOS sensor enables users to shoot at UHD 4K 60 fps and FHD 120 fps video. It also features a 3-inch touchscreen LCD with vertical support and rapid hybrid phase detection up to 759 points.  In addition, the new camera features Real-Time Eye AF and tracking, backdrop defocus, focus breathing correction, a directional 3-capsule microphone, and a windscreen.

The camera features a new BIONZ XR processor, which provides up to 8x faster performance than the previous version. Sony says the ZV-E10 II is on par with its top-quality APS-C cameras. The camera's focusing architecture includes an AI processing engine for enhanced topic detection, among other amazing features. The device also offers up to 30 percent more battery life and performance than the first model. As a testament, Sony noted the camera can record continuously for an entire day.

Finally, it is paired with a 16-55mm f/3.5-5.6 OSS II kit zoom which offers a 24-75mm equivalent range to cater to several situations. It has rapid focusing and uses the OSS to produce crisper photos. The new lens is lighter than the first version and offers better picture stabilization and focus while shooting. It is also possible to focus and zoom while shooting a picture.

Sony ZV-E10 II starts at USD 999.
