OnePlus is working on the Buds Pro 3, according to a new rumor. The company released the Buds Pro 2 back in February of 2023, and followed them up with the non-Pro OnePlus Buds 3 this February, and so we thought the "Pro" moniker was simply gone from its roster, in a similar fashion to what OnePlus did for its flagship smartphone line.
But apparently that's not the case, and
the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 are coming to sit at a more premium level above the Buds
3. The Buds Pro 3 will allegedly be offered in black, gold, and green, but as
always not all colors may be available in all markets, at least at launch.
The OnePlus Buds 3 are reportedly going to
have an EQ, wear detection sensors, support for Fast Pair, Dolby Atmos, and
OnePlus' Zen Mode Air. They are also expected to feature dual device
connection, camera shutter support, and spatial audio.
Unfortunately no other details have been
outed, so it's still unclear when these may launch and the price - though it
stands to reason that they will be more expensive than the Buds 3 were when
they came out. To justify the higher price tag, the Buds Pro 3 might also have
bigger, better sound drivers and (hopefully) enhanced battery life too.
