Motorola introduced the Moto G85 in India today, as promised. The smartphone comes in 8GB/128GB and 12GB/256GB configurations, priced at INR 17,999 (US$ 215/€ 200) and INR 19,999 (US$ 240/€ 220), respectively. It will be available in Cobalt Blue, Urban Grey, and Olive Green colors starting July 16 through Motorola's Indian website, Flipkart, and leading stores in India.
The Motorola Moto G85 is powered by the
Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC and runs Android 14 out of the box. Motorola has
promised two years of Android version upgrades and four years of Android
security updates for the Moto G85.
The Moto G85 comes with a 6.67" 120Hz
FullHD+ curved OLED screen (protected by Gorilla Glass 5) and a 5,000 mAh
battery, which charges at up to 33W instead of 30W like models in other
countries. The smartphone features a dual camera setup on the rear comprising
50MP primary (Sony LTIA 600) and 8MP ultrawide units. For selfies and video
calls, there's a 32MP camera on the front.
Other highlights of the Motorola Moto G85
include an IP52 rating, stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, and an in-display
fingerprint scanner.
