The HP OmniBook Ultra features a 14-inch, 2.2K (2240 x 1400) multitouch IPS display. It is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 processors with 55 TOPS of AI performance and integrated Radeon 800M graphics. This device is environmentally friendly, utilizing up to 90% recycled metals and 5% ocean-bound plastics.
Connectivity options include two
Thunderbolt 4 USB-C ports, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A port, and a 3.5 mm headphone
jack. The Ultra has a 9MP camera enhanced by the Poly Camera Pro app and
Windows Studio Effects, quad speakers with DTS Ultra, and weighs 3.48 pounds.
It has a 68-watt-hour battery, promising
up to 13 hours on MobileMark and up to 21 hours on video playback. Additional
features include Wi-Fi 7, a fingerprint scanner, a Copilot key, up to 32GB DDR5
RAM, and up to 2TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD. Security is a highlight, with HP Wolf
Security offering industry-leading protection, allowing the PC’s core to
self-heal from AI-assisted cyberattacks.
At launch, the OmniBook Ultra won’t have
Copilot+ but will receive a free software update to include it when available.
HP is also bundling its AI features, including the HP AI Companion.
