Honor launched the 200 and 200 Pro smartphones in China and then brought them to Europe several weeks later. Today, the company introduced the phones to another major market - India, where its subsidiary Htech and CEO Madhav Sheth shared some details about pricing and availability. The two phones come just in time for Amazon Prime Day, which takes place in India several days after the global shopping event. Sales start on July 20 and there are going to be a number of deals for local customers.
Honor 200 and Honor 200 Pro both come with
"AI-empowered" MagicOS 8.0, and have 50 MP triple camera setups.
Their 5,200 mAh batteries support 100W wired charging, and the Pro also adds
66W wireless. The biggest difference between them is the chipset. The Honor 200
runs on Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, while the Pro has a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The price of the Honor 200, available in
Black or Moonlight White, is INR 34,999 (US$ 420/€ 380) for 8/256 GB, while the 12
512 GB version is INR 39,999 (US$ 480/€ 440). The Honor 200 Pro comes in Black or
Oceancyan and costs INR 57,999 (US$ 700/€ 635) for 12/512 GB. Both phones will
launch with an INR 2,000 (US$ 23/€ 21) instant coupon discount, and early birds will
get a free Honor Watch or TWS buds (worth INR 8,499 if purchased separately).
The Honor 200 has an INR 1,000 (US$ 12/€ 11)
instant discount and up to INR2,000 (US$ 23/€ 21) bank offers, while the Honor 200
Pro comes with a massive INR 8,000 (US$ 95/€ 87) instant discount and up to INR 3,000
(US$ 35/€ 32) bank offers with certain cards.
