Motorola Razr 50 Ultra appeared on TENAA, just days after its vanilla sibling Razr 50 was also certified by the Chinese regulator. This smartphone is going to arrive as a premium device both on the inside and the outside - the clamshell is listed with a 3 GHz CPU, which is likely part of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
The screen on the inside is a 6.9” OLED
with 1080p resolution and should have up to 120 Hz refresh rate. Compared with
the Razr 40 Ultra, the cover screen grew a little and will be a 4” panel, once
again spanning around the camera lenses and the LED flash.
Speaking of cameras, both shooters on the
back are listed as 50 MP, likely the main and portrait shooters, and we expect
the latter to have a 2x optical zoom. There is a camera on the inside, which is
32 MP behind a punch hole.
The Razr 50 Ultra's battery will be 4,000
mAh, and the fingerprint scanner is once again on the side. Motorola filed the
phone with four RAM options - 8/12/16/18 GB, and four storage variants -
128/256/512 GB and 1 TB. We have to wait for the official launch to know the
exact memory combinations and how much the monster 18 GB RAM + 1 TB storage
version will cost.
