Xiaomi BW300 Outdoor Camera

The Xiaomi BW300 outdoor security camera is now available globally. The new gadget is designed for outdoor use and comes with a rechargeable battery. It also offers two-way audio communication. The new Xiaomi outdoor security camera has a housing that protects its electronic components from water and dust, thanks to its IP67 certification. The battery capacity of the security camera is 4,900mAh and this translates to up to 180 days of uninterrupted usage. This is achievable as long as the camera is not triggered more than 10 times a day. The security camera also has an optional 5W solar panel, resulting in unlimited battery life for the gadget. The camera omits a cable connection and can be positioned in a variety of locations easily.

The camera has a resolution of 3MP and achieves a field of view of 130 degrees. The lens delivers high-quality images even in less-than-ideal environmental conditions. The camera has light vision capabilities and can be deployed both with infrared LEDs or ordinary LEDs operating in the visible range. When operating with IR LEDs or LEDs, color recording can be obtained.

The Xiaomi BW300 outdoor security camera achieves two-way audio communication and can be seamlessly integrated into the smart home ecosystem. The optics of the launch date of the Xiaomi BW300 outdoor security camera have not been released yet. However, with the listing of the product by Gshopper and also its certification surfacing, it is expected that the launch is imminent.

The Xiaomi BW300 Outdoor Camera is on sale for US$ 65 on Gshopper. It should be noted that this isn’t an official Xiaomi store and it is unclear if Xiaomi will officially retail the BW300 globally any time soon.
