vivo had a big day today, unveiling its all-out camera flagship for 2024, the X100 Ultra, alongside the X100s and X100s Pro. But that wasn't all - the company also officially introduced the vivo Watch 3 ECG. As the name implies, this is a simple update to the original Watch 3, which made its debut in November of last year. So think of the vivo Watch 3 ECG as a Watch 3 with added ECG support, since that's what it is.
The new watch will be priced at CNY 1,699
(US$ 234 or € 217). However, if you buy one alongside an X series
phone, you'll only pay CNY 1,499 (US$ 207 or € 191) for the watch. vivo boasts that
the Watch 3 ECG can measure your ECG in 30 seconds, and then it will generate a
report for you in the vivo Health app, to help you identify potential heart
health risks.
The Watch 3 ECG runs the proprietary Blue
OS and supports eSIM, just like the Watch 3. It has a 1.43-inch 466x466 round
AMOLED touchscreen, 4GB of internal storage, and a 505 mAh battery.
