Mobvoi today introduced the latest addition to its TicWatch Pro 5 series, the TicWatch 5 Pro Enduro. Underneath, the TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro shares the same 1.43-inch AMOLED display with Mobvoi’s dual-layer design, powered by Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 chipset, 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage. It continues to operate on Wear OS 3.5. The notable upgrades start with the display. Named ‘Enduro’, Mobvoi replaces Gorilla Glass with sapphire crystal, ensuring a highly scratch-resistant surface.
The watch maintains its 7000-series
aluminum and nylon with fiberglass build but is slightly slimmer at 11.95mm
thickness, although slightly heavier at 44.8g. Design changes include
reinforced bezel carves and an updated rotating crown and side button, with a
new 24mm “Fluororubber” band for enhanced durability.
Battery life sees improvement, with the
Enduro lasting up to 90 hours on Smart Mode and 45 days on Essential Mode,
compared to the Pro 5’s 80-hour Smart Mode capacity. Software enhancements enable
the Ultra-low-power Display for tracking workouts with third-party apps like
Nike Run Club and Strava, without activating the OLED display.
Additional features include
scratch-resistant sapphire crystal glass, 5ATM water resistance, Barometer,
US-MIL-STD 810H certification, and multi-GNSS technology for navigating
challenging terrains. In terms of fitness, TicExercise now offers a larger UI
and more professional workouts tailored to various fitness levels, alongside
GPS and distance tracking for activities like walking and hiking. Health
features, including heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress, and snoring
detection, are consolidated in the TicHealth app, which also offers a 12-month
free VIP sleep subscription.
The TicWatch Pro 5 Enduro is priced at Rs.
34,999 in India / USD 349.99 and is available for purchase
in Obsidian color on Mobvoi’s website.
