The Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier unveiled during MWC 2024 debuted today in India. The Camon 30 5G comes in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB variants priced at INR 22,999 (US$ 275/€ 255) and INR 26,999 (US$ 325/€ 300), respectively, whereas the Camon 30 Premier is offered in a single 12GB/512GB configuration that costs INR 39,999 (US$ 480/€ 440). Both smartphones will go on sale in India starting May 23. The Tecno Camon 30 5G is powered by the Dimensity 7020 SoC and sports a 6.78" 120Hz FullHD+ AMOLED screen. The smartphone is fueled by a 5,000 mAh battery with 70W charging support and features three cameras - 50MP primary, 2MP depth, and 50MP selfie.
The Tecno Camon 30 Premier, on the other
hand, has the Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chip at the helm with a 5,000 mAh battery
under the hood supporting 70W charging. The smartphone packs a 6.77" 120Hz
1,264-pixel LTPO AMOLED screen and sports four 50MP cameras - primary,
ultrawide, periscope telephoto, and selfie.
The Tecno Camon 30 5G and Camon 30 Premier
run Android 14-based HiOS 14 out of the box and will be upgraded to Android 15
and Android 16. The smartphones will also receive three years of security
updates.
