SteelSeries launched its latest wireless gaming headset called the Arctis Nova 5. SteelSeries claimed this audio peripheral is specifically made to bring gamers an enhanced audio experience through its advanced sound technology and a lot of room for customizations via the app.
The brand boasts that it has more than 100
sound presets expertly designed in collaboration with esports players and audio
engineers. SteelSeries noted that these presets are going to enhance key audio
cues in well-known games such as letting you hear footsteps, bomb plants, and
other important sound information with clarity thus giving users competitive
advantage. It uses 40mm Neodymium Magnetic Drivers which produces detailed
soundscape with clear highs, onpoint mids, and deep bass, SteelSeries says. The
headset also supports 360-degree audio which lets the user hear everything from
a different direction thus providing full immersion and situational awareness. It
also has a ClearCast Gen2.X - Fully Retractable Boom microphone with a
Bidirectional Noise canceling feature.
Users may connect via Bluetooth 5.3 or the
provided USB-C dongle which can be inserted on mobile phones, PCs, laptops,
PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and VR platforms. Furthermore, SteelSeries
claims this can last up to 60 hours of battery life on a single charge letting
gamers play uninterrupted. Finally, there's also a version for PlayStation and
Xbox with their respective 100+ presets.
